Oilpresssing is a mechanical method for the manufacturing from oil. The oilpresses are driven with a electrical engine. Oil can be pressed from for example:
- nuts (e.g. walnut, almond, hazelnut, coconut, peanut kern)
- seeds (e.g. rapeseed, linseed, sunflowerseed, sesame)
After removing the oil remains the cake residue. This can be used for different dishes but also for animalfeed, fuel or fertilizer.
The material is pressed with great force in the pressingchamber with a spiral screw jack. In the screw jack the pressure increases and the material is compressed through that the oil comes out. Through a small gap at the underside the oil can be collected. The remaining cake residue will be turn out at the end of the pressingchamber.
